We are also an autonomous, self-governing institution that elects its own trustees. (Prior to entering into a new affiliated partnership with the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina in 2008, the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina elected all of Campbell’s trustees.)

Our Divinity School is a partner institution with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of North Carolina, is affiliated with the Baptist Convention of North Carolina, and works in cooperation with state Baptist associations and other local, state, and national educational and church-related organizations that represent compatible Christian traditions.
